Wow! What a historical night! You can't help but be moved. Our country has it's first black president. I never doubted for a minute that Obama was going to make it. I remember his run for the Illinois senate and it ran pretty much the same way . . . by a landslide! McCain bogged his campaign down with his arrogancy and derogatory remarks, not to mention his choice for his running mate. It boded an ill feeling from the start of the presidential campaign. I am glad that it is all over with. This campaign was getting to the point of dragging on and getting very old with all the negative ads. Now let's hope that he makes the changes that he has so devoutly promised the country.
